Capitec Bank founded the Capitec Foundation in June 2015 as an independent, non-profit organization to improve learners’ and school leaders’ numeracy skills and financial literacy. Capitec Bursary 2025 Eligibility

• Must be a South African Citizen (13 Digit SA ID number)
• Also, must have obtained a National Senior Certificate
• Must be interested in studying towards completing the above qualification
• In addition, Must have a clear credit and criminal record
• After completing my studies, I am willing to be based in the Western Cape (Stellenbosch) or Gauteng (Sandton/JHB).

Capitec Bursary 2025 Requirements

To qualify for the Capitec Bank Bursary, applicants must fulfill one of the following 3 criteria:

• Have a National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or National Certificate (Vocational)
• Be in the process of obtaining your 2019 National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or National Certificate (Vocational)
• Currently, be studying towards or plan to study a relevant undergraduate and/or post-graduate degree within the following fields:
  • Quantitative Risk Management
  • Financial Management
  • Business Economics
  • Economic Science
  • Economic and Management Science
  • Industrial Engineering
  • Applied Mathematics
  • Computer- and/or Mathematical Science
  • Data Mining and/or Science
  • Information Technology and/or Computer Science
  • Statistics and/or Mathematics
  • Higher Certificate: Information Systems (Engineering/Internet/Software Development)

  Capitec Bursary 2025 Application Process

  • The Capitec bursary online application is available. You must submit a bursary application online. To do so, visit https://leap.ly/opportunities/765 to create an account and apply for the bursary.
  • Submit clear copies of the following supporting documentation along with your online application:
  • • A certified copy of your ID document
    • A certified copy of your matric certificate
    • A certified copy of your latest academic results (if currently studying)

    Benefit of Capitec Bursary 2025

    Bursary recipients will receive the following benefits:

    • The bursary will cover the following expenses: tuition fees, books, accommodation, and stipends.
    • Bursary recipients will also receive work readiness training and onboarding experience to support their transition into work and personal development training through access to mentors.
    • Students will also be invited to join the Capitec Holiday Programme to take their learning to a practical level and focus on real business problems.
    • In addition, after graduation, the Work Readiness and Onboarding Experience will help students transition successfully into the business.
